To say Joe Gibbs Racing is dominating the Nationwide Series wouldn't do the three-driver team of Tony Stewart, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch justice. The No. 20 JGR Toyota is currently first in the owner standings, 127 points in front of the No. 2 RCR Chevrolet driven by Clint Bowyer.

After a small stretch of 20-something finishes, the 20 car has been the one to beat each week. But even Joe Gibbs' second car, the No. 18, which has run in just five races, is a force to be reckoned with when on the track.




In 12 races, Joe Gibbs Racing has eight wins, 10 top-fives and 11 top-10s -- and that's not even the most impressive part. Here's where the "record-shattering" comes in.

6 Number of consecutive wins for owner Joe Gibbs in the Nationwide Series -- a series record. The previous mark was held by Jack Roush, whose team won four consecutive races in 2000 (Mark Martin – 3 and Jeff Burton – 1).
4 Number of consecutive Nationwide races the No. 20 car has won in a row. While that isn't a first, the No. 20 car is the first to win four consecutive races with three different drivers in the Nationwide Series.
Coming off the bye-week, the series heads to Lowe's Motor Speedway on Saturday for the Carquest Auto Parts 300 (7 p.m. ET, ESPN2) and with just the No. 20 car entered, history lays in the hands of Hamlin -- and his past at Lowe's isn't a pretty one.
